Deloma's husband Neal Byrd preceded her in 2012. Deloma was born May 7, 1921 to Loland and Gertrude Lambert in El Dorado, Kansas, one of three children; Arietta (sister) and Ralph (brother). Read More	Deloma May Byrd 5/7/1921-6/8/2015 Mrs. Deloma May Byrd, a mother, step-mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed at her home surrounded by her loving family June 8, 2015. Deloma's husband Neal Byrd preceded her in 2012. Deloma was born May 7, 1921 to Loland and Gertrude Lambert in El Dorado, Kansas, one of three children; Arietta (sister) and Ralph (brother). Always a special and beautiful lady, Deloma had been married to two WWII veterans. William Anderson preceded her in 1968. Deloma married Neal Byrd in 1972 and they embarked on a business venture together establishing the Bike and Hike Shop in Auburn, Calif. They organized the first Bicycle Motocross track in Auburn at DeWitt with other business leaders providing equipment and materials. They corralled local kids and created the Bike & Hike BMX Team. Neal and Deloma sold the bike shop and retired; traveling, raising cattle in Missouri during the summers at a farm that had been in Deloma's family for three generations. The two would schlep treasures from Missouri and sell it at flea markets, having fun all of the way. Deloma always seasonally decorated their home which was the family rendezvous for celebrations. Deloma and Neal had been active with the Cherokees of No. California. Deloma enjoyed the company of her many friends and neighbors . Deloma is survived by her brother Ralph Lambert, children: Richard Anderson, Neal Byrd, Maria Adams, Linda Raphael, Shawn Byrd, Mark Byrd and Frances Vescio; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Deloma is missed by her family and friends. Deloma May Anderson Byrd was commended to the loving arms of her Savior and our Lord. Deloma and Neal Byrd will be interred together at the Blankinship Cemetery, Butler County Kansas. Published in Gold Country Media Newspapers on June 2, 2016
