Delores was born November 3, 1935, in Rockingham County, to the late Thomas Kermit Cayton and Doris Griffin Cayton. Delores was a graduate of Bethany High School. She was employed as an office manager at Cemco Partitions in Summerfield. After retiring, Delores and Buster fulfilled a longtime dream and moved to Garden City Beach, SC. Delores was born November 3, 1935, in Rockingham County, to the late Thomas Kermit Cayton and Doris Griffin Cayton. Delores was a graduate of Bethany High School. She was employed as an office manager at Cemco Partitions in Summerfield. After retiring, Delores and Buster fulfilled a longtime dream and moved to Garden City Beach, SC. While there they operated two beachwear stores, Laurie's of Garden City and Family Beachwear. Although she loved the beach, cooking and working in the yard were her passions. There was never a time that a visit to Delores's house did not include a meal and a good conversation. We are thankful for all the special memories and will miss her dearly. "…to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." (II Corinthians 5:8) Survivors include son, Todd W. Tucker and Companion, Kimberly, of Madison; Cheryl T. Essex and companion, Lew Reynolds, of Garden City Beach, SC, Marty T. Woods and husband, Lane, of Stoneville, NC and Laurie T. Seeney and husband, Larry, of Madison, NC.
