Description	:	Delores J. Reese, 83 of Ravenna, formerly of Pleasanton, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Society in Ravenna. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pleasanton United Methodist Church with Rev. Marta Wheeler officiating. Burial will be at the Pleasanton Cemetery. Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney is in charge of the arrangements. Delores was born August 12, 1931 in Pleasanton to John and Amelia (Kreutzer) Lammers. She grew up in the Pleasanton area and graduated from Pleasanton High School in 1948. She earned her teacher’s certificate from Kearney State College. Delores married Melvin Grey on June 20, 1952. He passed away July 8, 1964. Delores then married Keith Reese on December 23, 1965 in Pleasanton. She taught in several Country Schools in Hazard and Poole from 1948 until 1966. After teaching, she and her husband farmed northwest of Pleasanton until he passed away in 1993. Delores also worked at Eatons in Kearney until she retired. She was a member of the Pleasanton United Methodist Church, Pleasanton American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sunflower Kensington Extension Club. Delores loved attending her grandchildren’s activities. She also enjoyed baking and reading. Delores is survived by her son Ron and wife Kim Reese of Pleasanton, NE, daughter Patsy Betke and husband Royal of Ravenna, NE, grandchildren Bridgette, Garrett, Keatton, and Wyatt Reese of Pleasanton, and Adam Betke of Ravenna, and numerous nieces and nephews. Delores was preceded in death by two husbands Melvin Grey and Keith Reese, and three sisters Helen Smith, Hazel Ripp, and Dorothy Heider.
