Description	:	Delores J. Williams, age 83, of Stover, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the Golden Age Living Center. She was born December 29, 1936, daughter of the late John E. and Mary W. (Lubeck) Petty. She was united in marriage to Edgar Eugene “Eddie” Williams on January 22, 1955, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gravois Mills. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2005. Williams, age 83, of Stover, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the Golden Age Living Center. She was born December 29, 1936, daughter of the late John E. and Mary W. (Lubeck) Petty. She was united in marriage to Edgar Eugene “Eddie” Williams on January 22, 1955, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gravois Mills. He preceded her in death on August 10, 2005. Delores worked at the Gunn Clinic in Versailles as a nurse and lab technician for 54 years until her retirement. Her greatest enjoyment came from attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, watching them swim at their pool, shopping with the girls, planning the big Williams family float trips and spending time with the love of her life, Eddie. Delores was a member of the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Versailles. She is survived by her children, Kurt Williams and wife Robyn of Jefferson City, Missouri, Neil Williams and wife Kristi of Forsythe, Missouri, Sue Hodges and husband Ron of Stover, Missouri and Jan Dunham of Grove, Oklahoma; her A.F.S. student Franco Guargilia of Parma, Italy; grandchildren, Jared, Brandy, Toni, Amber, Jade, Austin, Landon, Alexis, Rachal, Jonathan, Andrea, Tara, Ryan, Kayla, Joshua, Cody and Flippo; thirty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Joanne Petty of Jefferson City, Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie Joe and Kay Williams of Versailles, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth E. Petty. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, October 18th, in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles Cemetery with her grandsons, Jared, Austin, Landon, Jonathan, Ryan, Joshua and Cody serving as casketbearers. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Golden Age Living Center. Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
