Description	:	"Delores Jean Mesenbrink, age 83, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 in the presence of her family at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, after a short illness. Delores was born August 19, 1933 in Chambers, Nebraska to Vern and Lorna (Fluckey) Wilkinson. She grew up in Chambers and graduated from Chambers High School. She attended Midland College in Fremont and was employed by Hormel. She married James Mesenbrink on August 15, 1953 in Fremont. Delores was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont and was active in United Methodist Women. She loved to volunteer, driving for Meals on Wheels... Delores was born August 19, 1933 in Chambers, Nebraska to Vern and Lorna (Fluckey) Wilkinson. She grew up in Chambers and graduated from Chambers High School. She attended Midland College in Fremont and was employed by Hormel. She married James Mesenbrink on August 15, 1953 in Fremont. Delores was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fremont and was active in United Methodist Women. She loved to volunteer, driving for Meals on Wheels in Fremont for over 40 years. Delores loved to play bridge several times a week, Bunco, and go shopping. Her family and friends were very important to her. Holidays and times spent with her children and grandchildren were the centerpiece of her life. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl (Bob) Reynoldson of Lincoln, and Lori Mesenbrink of Fremont; a son Michael Mesenbrink of Cave Creek, AZ; seven grandchildren: Jill (Mark), Amy (Zach), Erin, Matt, Katie, Ashley, and Colin; two great-grandsons: Austin and Jackson. Delores is preceded in death by her her parents; husband, Jim, on March 8, 2005; and her brother, Dean Wilkinson. Funeral Service will be 11 A.M., Monday March 13, 2017 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Rev. Dennis Wheeler will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M., with family receiving friends from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. at the funeral home. A private family burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in Fremont. Memorials may be designated to the Calvary United Methodist Church or the Fremont Community Foundation." Moser Memorial Chapel, 2170 N. Somers Ave., Fremont, NE 68025.
