Description	:	RAVENNA — Delores Lola Urwiller, 94, of Ravenna went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Good Samaritan Society in Ravenna. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at New Life Church in Kearney, with the Revs. Doug DeNeui and Doug Litsey officiating. Burial will be in Sodtown Cemetery. Rasmussen Funeral Home in Ravenna is in charge of arrangements. Delores Lola Urwiller was born Feb. 4, 1923, at the home of her grandmother, Flora Tracy, in Cairo. She was the daughter of John and Irene (Tracy) Hendrickson. She attended elementary school at Bluff Center, Hall County, and District 52, Buffalo County. During ninth grade, she attended St. Michael High School (the last year school was held there). She graduated from Cairo High School with the class of 1940. She was united in marriage to Mearl Urwiller on May 10, 1942. The couple made their home on the farm in Sodtown, later moving into Ravenna. Delores loved gardening, needlecrafts and researching the Hendrickson and Urwiller family histories. Her artistic abilities were shared with family and friends through cartoon drawings on her handwritten letters. She corresponded with many home and overseas missionaries. Her children, their spouses and families brought Delores great joy. Those left to cherish her memory include her children and their spouses: Gary and Carmen Urwiller of Kearney, David and Kathy Urwiller of Arlington, Texas, and Judy and Doug Litsey of Indianapolis, Ind.; her grandchildren, Jason Urwiller, Christy Burton, Tony Urwiller, Brian Urwiller, Diana Urwiller, Brent Urwiller, Jennifer Gerbig and Jeffrey Litsey; and 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Doyle (Alice) Hendrickson of Sedalia, Mo., and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Duane Hendrickson.
