Description	:	Delores M. Casebolt, 91 of Gladbrook, Iowa, died on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Westbrook Acres Nursing Home in Gladbrook. Delores was born on August 4, 1929, the daughter of Arnold and Martha (Busch) Eggers in Gladbrook. She graduated from Gladbrook High School, Class of 1947. Delores married Howard Casebolt on August 30, 1948, in Gladbrook. Delores and Howard owned and operated Casebolt Oil Co. and later built the Casey's in Gladbrook which they owned until 2002. Casebolt, 91 of Gladbrook, Iowa, died on Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Westbrook Acres Nursing Home in Gladbrook. Delores was born on August 4, 1929, the daughter of Arnold and Martha (Busch) Eggers in Gladbrook. She graduated from Gladbrook High School, Class of 1947. Delores married Howard Casebolt on August 30, 1948, in Gladbrook. Delores and Howard owned and operated Casebolt Oil Co. and later built the Casey's in Gladbrook which they owned until 2002. For many years, Delores did laundry for other families, painted, and wallpapered. She enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and spent many hours crocheting. Over the years she made hundreds of afghans, many of which she donated to Camp Courageous. Delores loved her flowers and could often be found in her yard amongst them. Delores is survived by her children, Mike (Linda) Casebolt of Pella, Iowa, Geri (David) Eilers of Gladbrook, Brian Casebolt of rural Garwin, Iowa; four grandchildren, Brett (Jessica) Casebolt, Eric (Deborah) Casebolt, Megan (Josh) Harrell, and Bradley (Leah) Eilers; nine great grandchildren, Allyson, Morgan, Tyler, Macy, Olivia, Ellie, Jack, Kristine, and Lyla; two brothers, Merlyn Eggers and Allen Eggers, both of Gladbrook; and a sister, Joette Thomas of Bentonsport, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard in 2010; a son, Douglas in 1968; and three brothers, Harold, Roger, and Lynn Eggers. Source: Anderson Funeral Home in Gladbrook
