Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home, with her family present from 6 to 7 p.m. Delores was born Nov. 24, 1928, in State Center, the daughter of William H. and Gladys (Ankrum) Eggers. Raised and educated in State Center and Marshalltown, she graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1946. On Nov. 28, 1947, she was united in marriage to Herbert E. Wyatt, who preceded her in death on July 15, 1985. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Redeemer LWML, and a charter member of Marshalltown Area Multiple Sclerosis Support Group, serving various offices in LWML and the M.S. Support Group. Delores will be remembered as a very special, caring person who loved her family, friends and church deeply. It was Delores' wishes that memorials be directed to Marshalltown Area M.S. Support Group, Redeemer Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice. Left to honor her memory are her two cherished daughters, Tina Axley of Marshalltown, and Vicki (Melvin) Skaggs of Ottumwa; her beloved grandchildren, Samantha and T.J. Axley, Marshalltown, and Sydni Johnson and Makayla Cross of Ottumwa. Also two brothers, Lloyd Eggers of Marshalltown and Arnold Eggers of Phoenix, Ariz., and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Fred and Jan Wyatt of Melbourne; her treasured nieces and nephews. In death, she has rejoined her loving husband of 37 years, and her parents.
