Description	:	Delores Marie Drain was born October 23, 1937 to Lee and Ruth Steinke in Trenton, NE. She passed away on February 18, 2022 at Hillcrest Caring Center in McCook. Dude received her nickname at a very young age and was only Delores to strangers. Dude attended school in Trenton and married her neighbor, Ron Drain, on December 20, 1953. She passed away on February 18, 2022 at Hillcrest Caring Center in McCook. Dude received her nickname at a very young age and was only Delores to strangers. Dude attended school in Trenton and married her neighbor, Ron Drain, on December 20, 1953. Ron and Dude spent their lives farming and ranching, and raising their family on the land where they were raised. Dude devoted her life to her family, farm, and friends. Her fun loving nature and easy laughter made her a crowd favorite at farm auctions for miles around. Dude's love of antiques, along with her crafting, sewing, and decorating talents made a visit to her home an adventure. Many local women's clubs made a tour of her home a destination. With her toolbox that consisted of a hammer, spray paint, and glue gun and many glue sticks, Dude would tackle any project. There was never a need for a tape measure when you could just 'eyeball' it. Dude was proceeded in death by Ron on September of 2002. In respect to Dude's wishes a private family ceremony was held.
