Description	:	Deloris F. Crown was born February 25, 1921, along with her twin sister Doris, the daughters of Orrin and Maggie (Wetzel) Crown. She grew in the Wall area, where she attended rural school before attending Wall High School, graduating in 1938. After graduation, she worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company. Deloris was united in marriage to Delos Foster on September 14, 1940 at Rapid City. They made their home in Wall where they operated a Conoco Service Station until moving to Tacoma, Washington. Crown was born February 25, 1921, along with her twin sister Doris, the daughters of Orrin and Maggie (Wetzel) Crown. She grew in the Wall area, where she attended rural school before attending Wall High School, graduating in 1938. After graduation, she worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company. Deloris was united in marriage to Delos Foster on September 14, 1940 at Rapid City. They made their home in Wall where they operated a Conoco Service Station until moving to Tacoma, Washington. Delos entered the US Navy during World War II; Deloris moved back to Wall during that time. After his discharge from the Navy, they returned to Wall. They owned and operated various service stations until 1958, when they began operating the Foster Texaco Station at the south end of Main Street. They continued to operate the station until Delos' death in 1995, and Dobbie retired. She spent her retirement years in Wall, until moving to Rapid City in March in 2013 due to health reasons, where she had since resided. Dobbie was a member of the Methodist Church in Wall, and enjoyed bowling in her spare time. She spent many hours traveling with her bowling team to different bowling tournaments in the state. She made world famous peanut brittle, and crocheted doilies for a number of residents in Wall. Survivors include two sons Allen Foster and his wife Anne of Rapid City, and Jerry Foster and his wife Sue of Rapid City; a daughter Karen Holst and her husband Gary of Rapid City; four grandchildren Juli, Steve, Megan and Luke; three great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Norman Sebade of Tacoma, Washington; and a host of other relatives and friends. Dobbie was preceded in death by her husband Delos Foster on October 13, 1995; three brothers Merle, Wayne, and Ivan Crown; and two sisters Elsie Mortensen and Doris Sebade.
