Description	:	Deloris M. Pribnow, 90, of Albion, NE, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Albion, NE. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018, at United Methodist Church in Albion, NE with Rev. Janet Burgel officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Levander Funeral Home in Albion, NE. Deloris May Pribnow, the daughter of Earl and Erma (McClannahan) Pierson, was born on July 16, 1927 in Ewing, NE. Deloris attended several rural schools near Ewing up to the 7th grade. She then attended Ewing Public Schools and graduated from there in 1945. While she was attending high school, Deloris took normal training and received her diploma to teach for three years. Deloris then attended Wayne State College in Wayne, NE to renew her teaching diploma. She taught school for five years in Holt, Antelope and Wheeler Counties. In 1949, Deloris was baptized in the United Methodist Church. Deloris was married to Marvin Martin Lee Pribnow on May 28, 1950 at the United Methodist Church in Ewing. After their marriage she joined the United Methodist Church in Albion, NE. Their first home was northeast of Primrose, NE, living there for one year. Deloris and Marvin then moved to a farm west of Albion, which still remains in the family today. While living on the farm, Deloris belonged to a neighbor ladies club that met once a month. She also belonged to the United Methodist Church Circle serving as President and doing anything that was asked of her. Deloris was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and knitted many things for her family and friends. Deloris is survived by three children: Maranna (Richard) Verbeck of Kearney, NE; Dianne (Doyle) Young of Albion, NE; Roy (Judy) Pribnow of Albion, NE; six grandchildren: Kilynne (William) Bokoskie of North Platte, NE; Richelle (fiancé Evan Steuhm) Verbeck of Kearney, NE; Curtis (fiancé Macayla Jipsen) Pribnow of Primrose, NE; Cassidy Pribnow of Lincoln, NE; Brent (fiancé Willow Wisekamp) Pribnow of Albion, NE; Landin Pribnow of Albion, NE; five great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; one brother: Marcus Pierson of Clearwater, NE; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marvin; and son Lee.
