Description	:	Delsie Marie Younger, age 83. of Western Grove, departed this world Thursday, November 21, 2013, in Harrison. She was born September 19, 1930, in Hasty, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) and Neva Morrison Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Othor Morris, her sisters, Juanita Cox and Pauline Wooldridge, and an infant grandson. She was born September 19, 1930, in Hasty, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson (Jeff) and Neva Morrison Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Othor Morris, her sisters, Juanita Cox and Pauline Wooldridge, and an infant grandson. Delsie graduated from Western Grove High School where she played guard on the girls basketball team. She met the love of her life, Glen Younger, in high school and they were married March 10, 1951. Delsie started working at Oberman's Garment Factory when her daughter was 3 months old and continued working until a month before Glenda got married. She also worked at Levi's and Emerson until she retired from Emerson on September 1, 1993, all while running a dairy farm where she and Glen were selected Searcy County Farm Family of the Year in 1973. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and family, especially Gina's basketball games and Jeff's drag racing and being with her great- grandsons. Delsie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Glen Younger, of the home; her daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Steve Cantrell, of Olvey; her grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jeff and Tammie Cantrell, of Western Grove; her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Gina and Tony Claassen, of Branson; three great-grandsons: Carter, Cooper, and Colter Cantrell, of Western Grove; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and dear friends. Visitation was Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. Funeral service was Monday, November 25, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Bro. Lannie Younger officiating. Pallbearers were John Wooldridge, Robert Morris, Greg Robinson, Scott Robinson, Bill Nichols, Kyle Sisco, Kent Mathis Honorary Pallbearers were Ricky Cox, Carter Cantrell, Cooper Cantrell, Colter Cantrell, Dr. Steve Shrum, Dr. John Leslie, angie Ward, Tammie Grigg, Alisha Wood, Perry Wilkerson, Staff at Hospice of the Hills, Staff at Hillcrest Homes Interment was in Western Grove Cemetery.
