In her early life, Dee was a hairdresser at Blass Company in Little Rock, receptionist for an eye doctor and finally at American Abstract and Title Company as a receptionist in Little Rock. Dee was an active and viable member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Little Rock for many years. Survivors include her two children, Michael Stroud of Cabot and Judy Stroud of Austin, Texas, two grandsons Barry (Beth) and Andy (Kristi) as well as 3 great-grandchildren: Meredith, Carter and Bruce. Many nieces, nephews and their families and special friend, Gwynn Carpenter of Austin, Tx.
