Description	:	Mrs. Dena Mailman 1930 Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Dena Mailman, widow of the late Albert Mailman, passed away Wednesday, March 12th, at her home, after an illness of several months. Deceased who was eighty-four years of age, was a life-long resident of Baker's Settlement, Lunenburg County. She was loved and respected by everyone, and will be sadly missed by a wide circle of friends. She was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church and always took a great interest in visiting the sick and helping those in distress. Read More	Mrs. Dena Mailman 1930 Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Dena Mailman, widow of the late Albert Mailman, passed away Wednesday, March 12th, at her home, after an illness of several months. Deceased who was eighty-four years of age, was a life-long resident of Baker's Settlement, Lunenburg County. She was loved and respected by everyone, and will be sadly missed by a wide circle of friends. She was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church and always took a great interest in visiting the sick and helping those in distress. She is survived by six sons: Joseph, New Albany; James, Chelsea; Titus, North Brookfield; Pearl, Baker's Settlement; Simon, Hebbville; and Richard, at home. Three daughters, Mrs. Obed Hirtle, Mrs. Levi Meisner, Upper Branch; and Mrs. Samuel Walfield of LaHave Islands also survive. There are 55 grandchildren living and 32 great grandchildren. There are two brothers, Angus Baker, Maplewood; Hosea Baker of the United States; and two sisters, Mrs. B. Sperry and Mrs. J. Hubley of Farmington. The funeral services were held at Baker's Settlement Church on Saturday, March 15th,at 2:30 p.m., by Rev.Seville of Midville Parish. The text was taken from 2nd. Timothy 1st. to 12th. verse. " For I know whom I have believed and am persuaded, that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." Rev. Seville spoke of the devoted life of the deceased and comforted the mourners with his text as a message from her. With thanks to Rosemary Rafuse.
