Mr. Perrin had been ill for several months, but a serious phase until a few weeks ago, when he was compelled to take to his bed, and grew weaker gradually until the end came. Perrin died this afternoon at his residence on Glenn Street, aged 62 years. Mr. Perrin had been ill for several months, but a serious phase until a few weeks ago, when he was compelled to take to his bed, and grew weaker gradually until the end came. Mr. Perrin was thrice married, by his first wife he had one son, Mr. Jas. Emory Perrin, of the firm of Cowden & Perrin, real estate and insurance people of this city. He also leaves besides his wife, a daughter, Miss Marie Perrin, by his second wife. The deceased was one of the best known men in the county. He was engaged in the mercantile business in this city for a number of years, but for some time had been living in a retired life. He was born near Flintstone, and was in business at one time near Little Orleans. From there he went in business in West Virginia, and later removed to Cumberland. He was as honest as the day is long, and was a consistent member of Centre Street M.E. Church. Besides the children referred to, he is survived by his wife. His first wife was a sister to Mr. O.S. Wilson, of the firm of Wilson & Pugh, and Justice of the Peace Simpson Wilson. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
