Description	:	Services will be held Thursday, Aug. 14 at the Dindot-Klusmann Chapel at 7 p.m. for Dennis Stewart, 57, who died suddenly at his home in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, the result of an apparent heart attack. Officiating during the service will be the Rev. Hugh Brewer. Leslie Fylling will be organist. Brenda Sinning will sing "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "The Lord's Prayer". Interment will be held in the Lennox Cementery. Dennis Allen Stewart was born Oct. 10, 1950 in Sioux Falls, SD, the son of Wayne and Janice (Penney) Stewart. He lived in Lennox with his family until he was six years of age, when they moved to California. Growing up, Dennis and his brothers were raised in Southern California. He was married to Sheila Diffenderffer. Dennis was very athletic and played sports in high school. He was named "All City" in football. His hobbies included hunting and fishing with his companion, "Buck", skiing, Nascar and watching the Minnesota Vikings play. Dennis loved that his kids played sports when they were growing up. He had been employed with US Airways for 35 years and picked up the name "Santa Claus" from his employees. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Sheila D. Stewart; daughters, Bonnie Stewart and Rebecca Stewart, both at home; son Jake Stewart, who is stationed in the Army National Guard, but is home on leave; his parents, Wayne and Janice Stewart of Sioux Falls; brothers: Danny Stewart and his wife, Kathleen, of Mustang, Oklahoma, David Stewart and his wife, Jeri, of Palo Cedro, California and Dudley Stewart of Jacksonville, Florida.
