Ninth street. The child was unable to get his breath and the inhalator squad was called as well as Capt. Paul Mummert of the police department. The family physician said the child died of pneumonia. Capt. Mummert said that two other members of the family, Harold, 16, and Pamela, 4, were suffering from pneumonia and had been taken to St. Vincent hospital in an ambulance. Dennis Eugene was born January 7, 1945, in Sioux City. Surviving besides the parents, Harold and Pamela, are another brother, Harold, jr., and two sisters, Connie Jean, and Mrs. G. L. Wilson of Franklin. The body was taken to the Anderson funeral home. The Sioux City Journal, June 5, 1946 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The funeral of Dennis Eugene Belding, 18-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Belding, 508 W. Ninth street, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Anderson chapel. Rev. Carl Grindberg of Riverside Lutheran church will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery. A fire department inhalator squad worked futility over the baby for 30 minutes Tuesday when the boy was unable to get his breath. The family physician said the child died of pneumonia.
