Description	:	son of Niles and Jessie Wittfoth Dennis Wittfoth, a man of faith and grace, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 23, 2013. He was born March 13, 1936, in a farm house near Churdan, Iowa, to Niles and Jessie (Saunders) Wittfoth. Dennis graduated from Churdan High School in 1955. He married Kathleen Price on May 6, 1956 in Jefferson at First Baptist Church. Dennis had a 35 year career in television and appliance repair working at J. C. He was born March 13, 1936, in a farm house near Churdan, Iowa, to Niles and Jessie (Saunders) Wittfoth. Dennis graduated from Churdan High School in 1955. He married Kathleen Price on May 6, 1956 in Jefferson at First Baptist Church. Dennis had a 35 year career in television and appliance repair working at J. C. Penny, General Electric, and his own business. He retired from television and appliance repair in 1996. Known by family and friends as an innovative craftsman, Dennis built two homes and many pieces of fine furniture. His keen eye for detail also flowed into his ability for artistic painting. He was always willing to teach others the skills he learned over the years. Denny and Kathleen moved into the second home he built in 1980 and lived there until his death. Survived by: wife, Kathleen; daughters, Denise (Jim) Luloff of Waterloo and Tammy (Michael) Jones of Fort Dodge; sons, Kevin (Kim) Wittfoth and Todd (Karen) Wittfoth both of Waverly; 9 grandchildren, Joshua Jones, Kristi Martin, Randi (Jeremy) Jelinek, Melissa (Aaron) Driscoll, Sarah (Kris) Geilenfeld, Kelsey Wittfoth, Nicole Wittfoth, Drew Wittfoth, and Brooke Wittfoth; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Julia Robinson of Boone and Joy (Victor) Michelson of Watertown, SD; a brother, Jerome (June) Wittfoth of Biddeford, ME; sister-in-law Joan (Jack) Harbaugh of Jefferson; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: his parents, Niles and Jessie (Saunders) Wittfoth; parent-in-laws Harry and Edith (Mischke) Price. Services: Public visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, Waterloo. The service is 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church, Waterloo, preceded by a one hour visitation. The burial is in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
