Dennis Glen Chamberlin was born on January 4, 1947 in Norfolk to Glen and Delores (Carson) Chamberlin. Dennis attended grade school in Norfolk and graduated from Norfolk Senior High School in 1966. Dennis married Lynnette Strong on October 28, 1967 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Norfolk and the couple resided in Norfolk. Dennis also served in the Nebraska National Guard from 1966 to 1972. After high school Dennis lived in Norfolk and worked at Griswald Seed Company. He then worked at Safeway Food Store, before going to work for Sherwood Medical for 38 years in Norfolk. Dennis retired in 2007. After retirement, Dennis then worked at Norfolk 7 Theatres and then Menards. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, board games, making crafts for conversational pieces, and spending quality time with family and friends. He enjoyed making people laugh and helping anyone. Dennis was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Norfolk. Survivors include his spouse Lynnette Chamberlin of Norfolk, daughter Kim Kuchar of Norfolk, grandsons Tyler Libengood of Ashland, Jace Kuchar of Norfolk, brothers Duane Chamberlin, Dale (Kylene) Chamberlin, Roger (Pam) Chamberlin all of Norfolk, sister Shirley (Karl) Sanders of Arvada, CO, and brother-in-law Ron Luebe of Norfolk. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Delores, sister Linda Luebe, and sister in law Marty Ausdemor.
