Memorials may be made in care of the church. Dennis Marvin Crose, the son of Ralph and Anna Louise (Whiton) Crose, was born May 18, 1914, in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City Schools in 1934. Dennis Marvin Crose, the son of Ralph and Anna Louise (Whiton) Crose, was born May 18, 1914, in Webster City. He graduated from Webster City Schools in 1934. In October 1934, he went to work with the state employment service, working for 16 years in Webster City, Mason City, Des Moines, Burlington and Fort Dodge. He became office manager in Webster City in 1946, continuing until 1957 when he accepted a position with the Iowa State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. He retired in 1976. On Oct. 25, 1952, he married Daisy Collenbaugh of Burlington. She preceded her husband in death in March 1954. On May 14, 1955, he married Elma Bailey at the Little Brown Church. Mrs. Crose preceded her husband in death many years later. Mr. Crose was a charter member of the Webster City Lions Club when it was organized in 1950 and, at the time of his death, was the only charter member to remaining.
