Description	:	Dennis “Mick” Michael Moritz Jr. was born on May 30, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Dennis Sr. and Karolyn (Kerr) Moritz. He graduated from Sac City High School in 1983. Mick was united in marriage to Jan Blaha in 1986. The couple was later divorced. Mick worked as an auto mechanic for 20 years at Blaha Service in Bellevue, Nebraska before going to work for Midline Auto & Truck in Papillion, Nebraska from 2005 until 2008. In 2008, Mick fell and sustained a spinal and head injury, which caused him to retire. He was told that he would never walk again.... Mick moved to West Union in 2012. Mick enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking, rodeos and tubing on the Turkey River. He loved spending time with family and friends. Mick passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014, at his home in West Union. He will be remembered for his “scooter rides” and trips to Dollar General, where he often spent $70 on candy for his “stock.” Mick had a great sense of humor and no one would know what was going to come out of his mouth. He always had a smirk on his face. He was preceded in death by a son, Brandon; maternal grandparents, Grace and Robert Kerr; paternal grandparents, Mike Moritz and Otto “Okie” and Doreen “Tootie” Blaha; and a brother-in-law, Matthew Sigmon.
