Read More	Dennis Pennington Sieg, son of Hamilton and Luella Sieg, was born January 1, 1887, at Moberly, Harrison county, Indiana. He was united in marriage to Cecil F. Eaton on the 10th day of January, 1909, at Corydon, Indiana, the Rev. Landy H. Kendall, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. To this union were born two children--Mrs. Vera Ogilvie of Battle Ground, Washington and Dale P. Sieg of Lincoln. On Wednesday, January 28, 1948, he departed to his heavenly home. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Cecil F.; a daughter, Vera; a son, Dale; and two grandchildren, David Dan and Laura Mae Ogilvie. He also leaves five brothers and five sisters: William of Seward; Mrs. Zora Patch of Tamora; Russell of Hartline, Wash.; Mrs. Sarah Engleman of Corydon, Ind.; Mrs. Kathryn Deffenbaugh of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Cleo Allen of Wilmington, Del.; Edward of Ramsey, Ind.; Mrs. Ruth Schwartz, Wesley and Walter all of Depauw, Ind. He also leaves thirty-five nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was baptized in his infancy at Moberly, Ind. In early childhood, he was converted at the altar and united with the M.E. church at Moberly, thus accepting Christ as his personal Savior. After his marriage, he moved to Fairmont, Nebr., at which time both he and his wife became members of the Methodist church. He resided in other sections of Nebraska--each time joining the M.E. Church in that particular community. He was an active participant in the M.E. church in Fairmont, at the time of his passing. Dennis Sieg was a true Christian in both word and deed. His conduct, speech and activities were governed by a standard of right and wrong. Through all the hardships of life, prayer gave him the great spiritual strength that always characterized his daily living. His faith gave him the deep abiding peace he always possessed. No day was too stormy to keep him from God's house to worship--no night was too dark to lend a helping hand to a neighbor in need. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him! Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Monday afternoon, Rev. L.A. Fishel, the pastor, officiating. Interment in the Fairmont cemetery.
