Description	:	NORFOLK -- Services for Dennis R. "Dick" Stueckrath, 76, of Norfolk will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk with Rev. Steve Lund officiating. Private family burial will take place at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk. Dick was born on November 26, 1941 in Osmond, NE to Louie and Ida (Kruger) Stueckrath. He attended country school close to home and then graduated from Plainview High School in 1959. Dick married Jeannene Stewart on May 27, 1961 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plainview. After marriage Dick and Jeannene farmed North of Plainview until 1966, and then they farmed by Randolph until 1973. They later moved near the Wausa and Bloomfield area where they also farmed. In 1999, Dick and Jeannene moved to Norfolk. Dick worked at Great Dane in Wayne until he retired in 2007. Dick collected Budweiser memorabilia. They enjoyed traveling, taking vacations, farming, and raising his cow/calf herd. Survivors include his spouse Jeannene Stueckrath of Norfolk, Lisa (Jeff) Bessmer of Norfolk, Mark (Terri) Stueckrath of Peoria, AZ, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, siblings Roger (DonaRene) Stueckrath of Omaha; Carol (Wayne) Segulia of Prior Lake, MN; sister-in-law’s Dorean Stueckrath of Plainview, Lois Stueckrath of Plainview, Norma Stueckrath of Randolph, Janet Stueckrath of Broomfield, CO and many nieces, nephews and extended relatives. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Louie and Ida; brothers Eugene “Gene”, Donald (Evelyn), Norman, Lou Jr., John “Jack”, and Willis “Butch.”
