The family settled in Clinton County, Iowa where he married Dorothea Buthmann May 24, 1899. She was the daughter of Adolph Buthmann and Magdalena Kracht. --- Detlef C. Behr, passed away in Jane Lamb Hospital. He was a patient for 10 days. Mr. Behr was 87 years at the time of his death. Burial Speingdale Cemetery. She passed away in 1946. Survivors: two sons, one daughter, 4 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren. Also one brother and one sister. His wife, parents, one sister and four brothers preceded him in death.
