Born in East Orange, N.J. on February 2, 1952, she was the daughter of Richard C. and Jeanne D. (Seeley) Bessett. On December 23, 1977, she married Donald R. Brown in Meriden, Conn. Devon was a 1970 graduate, member of the National Honor Society, and valedictorian of Central Catholic High School in Norwalk, Conn. She continued her education at Southern Conn. She was particularly fond of cross-stitching, crocheting, bird watching, camping, reading, gardening, and sailing. She is survived by her husband of Waterbury Center; her parents of Norwalk, Conn. . ."
