Description	:	Dexter Tyrone Lowery, 74, of 25 Nichols Rd., Luray, died March 4, 2018, at Page Memorial Hospital. He had been in declining health for sometime. He was born June 9, 1943, in Luray and was a son of the late Goldsworth "Buddy" and Edna Berry Lowery. Mr. Lowery retired from Wallace Computer Services in Luray. He attended Page Valley Baptist Church, north of Luray, and was a member of the Luray Christian Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed many years of hunting with his two sons. He had been in declining health for sometime. He was born June 9, 1943, in Luray and was a son of the late Goldsworth "Buddy" and Edna Berry Lowery. Mr. Lowery retired from Wallace Computer Services in Luray. He attended Page Valley Baptist Church, north of Luray, and was a member of the Luray Christian Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed many years of hunting with his two sons. On Nov. 16, 1963, he married the former G. Maxine Ellis, who survives. Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Timothy "Timmy" Lowery and wife Lesa, and Anthony "Tony" Lowery and wife Paula, all of Luray; two grandsons, Jordan Lowery and Adam Owens, both of Luray; one brother, Larry "Marion" Lowery and wife Charlotte of Port Orchard, Wash.; four sisters, Loretta Bolen and husband Leon, Pam Hilliard and husband Doug, and Sharon Turner, all of Luray, and Tanya "Tanny" Cunningham and husband Charles of Deland, Fla.; and a brother-in-law, Bennie Ellis and wife Bonnie of Luray. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jesse Turner. A funeral service was conducted on Tuesday, March 6, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Gary Nicholson. Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery.
