Diana was born on December 7, 1935 at Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Stanley and Clara (Graczyk) Rogalski. She graduated from Orchard Park High School in Orchard Park, New York in 1954. Plegge, 76, of Marysville, KS, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Cambridge Place in Marysville, where she has resided since December 15, 2011. Diana was born on December 7, 1935 at Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Stanley and Clara (Graczyk) Rogalski. She graduated from Orchard Park High School in Orchard Park, New York in 1954. On November 27, 1958 she married Ralph Plegge in Orchard Park. Diana was employed at Walmart for 11 years. She then worked part time for her daughter at the Wagon Wheel, baking pies, cakes, and other desserts. She was member of the United Methodist Church in Marysville. Diana is survived by her husband, Ralph Plegge, Marysville; son, Michael Plegge, Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Laurie Parks, Marysville; two granddaughters, Jennifer Parks, San Antonio, TX, and Katie Jo Parks, Marysville; and sister, Dorothy Shotwell, Orchard Park, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. Diana enjoyed family get togethers, playing cards, and visiting with family members. She disliked being out bid and going set when playing pitch. She enjoyed going to many years of dance recitals to watch her granddaughter, Jennifer dance. She also enjoyed watching her granddaughter, Katie Jo play softball, basketball, and show cattle. Diana enjoyed planting a small garden and planting flowers in the spring. She also enjoyed her travels to Alaska, Hawaii, England, Ireland, Scotland, two cruises to the Carribean, and various places in the United States. Diana enjoyed going to watch Kendra Wecker and the Lady Wildcats play basketball. She was a big fan and cheered them on during all the games. One of her biggest joys were her two dogs, Taz and Jack. They enjoyed sitting in her lap and sleeping by her bed, especially in the last few months when she was still at home. She often referred to them as her babies. Diana was a very loving and caring person. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 2, at the United Methodist Church in Marysville. Rev. Dale Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery.
