Diane is preceded in death by her parents Dr. William Paul Dennis and Helen (Stark) Dennis. Diane was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Park Hills. Along with her husband Richard, they were members of the singing group "Tapestry". Diane is survived by her husband Richard Layne; Daughter, Susan and husband Travis Kropp of St. Peters; two sons, James and wife Amanda Layne of Desloge and Mike and wife Lisa Layne of Desloge; Four Grandchildren, Cody, Seth, Tyler, and Abigail; Brother Bill Dennis of St. Charles; Sister, Sherry and husband Donnie Wengler of Georgia. Visitation will be Thursday January 13, 2011 at 5 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Services will be Friday at 11 am at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with the Rev. Pamela Cowin officiating. Entombment will be at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Manor.
