Description	:	MADISON - Dianne G. Gallant, 76, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018, surrounded by her children. She was born in Skowhegan on March 12, 1942, the daughter of Edgar and Regina (Martin) Arsenault. Known by family and friends as "Lady Di", she was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Dianne lived for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working in her flower garden, bird watching, taking her evening ride with the family dog and her morning coffee at the restaurant with friends. Her greatest joy however came from helping... Read More	MADISON - Dianne G. Gallant, 76, of Madison, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018, surrounded by her children. She was born in Skowhegan on March 12, 1942, the daughter of Edgar and Regina (Martin) Arsenault. Known by family and friends as "Lady Di", she was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Dianne lived for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working in her flower garden, bird watching, taking her evening ride with the family dog and her morning coffee at the restaurant with friends. Her greatest joy however came from helping and caring for animals. Dianne was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Regina Arsenault; and niece, Tracy Alley. Survivors include her son, Michael Gallant and fiancé, Marsha Cowett; daughters, Tammy Tranten and husband, Ralph; Stacie Gallant and fiancé, Michael Bonenfant; four grandchildren, Megan and Jordan Tranten, Brooke and Mitchell Bonenfant; a sister, Gloria Alley and husband, Tom; and two nephews, Rick and Jim Alley. A graveside service will be held at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Father Rasle Road, Madison. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, Madison. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dianne's name to an animal shelter or rescue of choice. (Central Maine Newspapers 7/6/2018)
