He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edwin, sister, Ellen Royal, one grandson and great-granddaughter. Dick and his wife resied in Cook, NE. in the early years, also Eagle where he owned a grocery store. They bought their home on the farm near Cook in June of 1954. Dick then worked for many years at the Brammeier's Locker in Cook. Dick and Verna were married for 65 years. Dick was 89 years of age at death. Services were held Jan. 28, 2011 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cook, NE. Wherry Mortuary of Tecumseh, Ne. was in charge of arrangements.
