Victoria (nee Dina Prins) was born December 21, 1854 in the Province of Drenthe, the Netherlands. She married to John Victoria in 1877. Six children were born to this union in the Netherlands, two of the children dying when they were small. In 1892 the family came to the United States, accompanied by Mrs. Victoria's mother, Mrs. Hendrik Prins. Victoria, 86 Years Old, Buried Thurs. Mrs. J. Victoria (nee Dina Prins) was born December 21, 1854 in the Province of Drenthe, the Netherlands. She married to John Victoria in 1877. Six children were born to this union in the Netherlands, two of the children dying when they were small. In 1892 the family came to the United States, accompanied by Mrs. Victoria's mother, Mrs. Hendrik Prins. They arrived in Hull, but the first year they made their home in Sioux Center, later moving to Hull and vicinity where the family has since lived. Two other children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Victoria in the United States. Mr. John Victoria passed away in 1912, leaving Mrs. Victoria alone with the children. In January, 1941 Mrs. Victoria took sick and passed away on February 3, 1941 at the age of 86 years, 1 month and 12 days. She is survived by her six children: Alice (Mrs. Andrew Eppinga) of Hull, Annie (Mrs. H. Oelen) of Hull, Koert Victoria of Sheldon, Henry J. Victoria of Hull, Dina (Mrs. Edward Reitsma) of Sanborn and John Victoria of Chicago; and by 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 6th, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. at the home and 1:30 at the Hull Christian Reformed Church. Rev Dr. R. L. Haan officiating, assisted by Rev. R. A. Jager.
