He married Susanna "Sudie" Branch and they had seven children together. He then married Bulah Burton on June 9, 1901. But, the Arkansas Death Index has him listed as Alma Dix Neal. Thus, his legal name may have been Alma Dixie Neal but he went by Dixie or DA.
