Docia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God of Alger and a member of the Topps Weight Loss Club of Kenton. Surviving is a son, Gary A. (Jessica) Hall of Alger; daughter-in-law, Donna Hattery of Alger; eight grandchildren: Michael Hall, Teresa Gammon, Tammie Rowe, Elaine Swope, Laura Koethe, Kenny Hall, Misty Waugh and Kyle Hall ; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Kenneth Harlan Hall and James Harvey Hall; a grandson, Kenny Eugene Hall; three brothers: Adam Holbrook, Frank Holbrook and Jessie Holbrook; a sister, Essie Prater. Funeral services will begin at 1:30 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger with Pastor Robert Dye officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger. Friends may call 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger.
