She was born in Nelson County, Sept. 21, 1917, a daughter of the late Joseph Coleman and Parker Mosby Harris. She was a member of Adial Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, David W. Turner, of Wichita, Kan.; three daughters, Mrs. Doris T. Howell of Fauber, Miss Harriet L. Turner of Kennington, Md., and Miss Susan D. Turner of Richmond; two grandchildren; one brother, Calvin C. Harris of Fauber; four sisters, Mrs. Betty H. Baker of Lovingston, Mrs. Nellie H. Harris and Mrs. Elizabeth H. Knight, both of Fauber and Mrs. Marjorie H. Budzinski of Alexandria; one half-brother, Matthew Harris of Lynchburg; and one half-sister, Mrs. Ruby Turpin of Lovingston. A funeral will be held at Adial Baptist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Twin Poplars. The family will be at Sheffield Funeral Home in Lovingston from 7 until 9 tonight. (News-Virginian, Waynesboro Va) ----------------- Note: there is a headstone for her in this cemetery, but her death certificate states she is in Adial Baptist Church cemetery.
