Brown Waukee - Dolores Ann Brown, 87, passed away December 26, 2018 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, following complications from a stroke. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm, Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Iles Westover Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, December 31, 2018 at Waukee Christian Church, of which she was a member for over 70 years. Interment will be at Waukee Cemetery. Dolores was born in Waukee, Iowa on May 6, 1931, the daughter of Lewis and Elizabeth (Wright) Meusburger. She graduated from Waukee High School in 1949 and married Floyd Brown in 1954. She worked at Meredith Corp. for several years, retiring in 1992. Dolores or "Aunt Diz" as known by her family, enjoyed reading, knitting, baking, counted cross-stitch, playing Mah Jong and card games.
