She was born Oct. 21, 1917 at Houghton, a daughter of John and Kathryn Schinstock Sanders. On Feb. 7, 1939, she married Everett F. "Eddie" Lutz at St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton. Read More	Dolores "Dot" Lutz, 88, of Houghton, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at the Henry County Health Center, Mount Pleasant. She was born Oct. 21, 1917 at Houghton, a daughter of John and Kathryn Schinstock Sanders. On Feb. 7, 1939, she married Everett F. "Eddie" Lutz at St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton. He preceded her in death in 1989. Dot was a lifelong resident of the Houghton area. She was a homemaker, and also sold Avon for many years. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Altar & Rosary Society, and the Daughters of Isabella. For 28 years, she cooked at the Knights of Columbus in Houghton. She is survived by one son, Ray (wife Betty) Lutz, of West Point; four daughters, Marlene (husband Raymond) Bentler, Salem, Sandy Wenz, Mount Pleasant, Marge (husband Larry) Stuecker, Pilot Grove, and Christy (husband Ralph "Bill") Dodson, of Bonne Terre, Mo.; one sister, Marge (husband Carl) Lohman, of Elkhart, Ind.; one sister-in-law, Theresa Schwartz, of West Point; 20 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, and one son-in-law. The family will meet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2006 at the St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, with a Rosary being held at 3 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, with the Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Burial will be at the St. John's Cemetery, Houghton. A memorial has been established for the St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Mount Pleasant. Contributions may be made at the church during services or at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
