Description	:	Memorial services for Dolores L. "Tiny" Feltner, 89, were held Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon with Pastor Roger Claxton officiating. Honorary casket bearers were John Feltner, Tim Feltner, Nathan King, Kris King, Nick Feltner and Wade Feltner. Inurnment was in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. Dolores LaVonne Feltner, the daughter of John and Cluppie Feltner, fondly known as "Tiny" by all her friends and relatives, was born Feb. 7, 1926 at her parents' home in Audubon and died Jan. 23, 2016 at the Friendship Home in Audubon at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 16 days. Tiny attended and graduated from the Audubon Community Schools then was employed at the local canning factory for a short time. She later worked at Jung's Bakery washing dishes. During this time she also lived with and cared for her mother who had many health issues. Tiny was always busy and to fill her time, she helped clean Martha's Beauty Shop and The Rose Theater. She was employed in the housekeeping department of the Friendship Home where she worked for 26 and a half years until she retired. She later made her home there in February of 2012. Tiny always kept her home in immaculate condition. She was very resourceful and creative. She was able to make something out of nothing. She learned how to sew when she was a young girl and was able to make all her own drapes, bedspreads, and doll clothes for her large doll collection. Tiny had one son, Terry. He was the light of her life, but was taken to heaven in 1969. Also preceding her in death were her parents; and her brothers and sisters, Delbert Feltner, LaVerne Feltner, Opal Grace Sheets, and Mary Curley. Survivors include her grandsons: John and wife Darla Feltner of Olathe, Kan., and Tim and wife, Nessa Feltner of Earlham; her daughter-in-law, Bev, and her husband Keith King of Audubon; Nathan and wife Rachael King of Audubon, Kris and wife, Stefanie King of Altoona; her great-grandchildren, Nick Feltner of Madrid, Jessica Feltner of Olathe, Kan., Wade Feltner of Earlham, Maya and Kamdan King, both of Audubon and Parker and Chas King both of Altoona; her sister Rowena Baughman of Lincoln, Neb., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = DOLORES "TINY" FELTNER, 89, of Audubon, died Sat., Jan. 23rd, at the Friendship Home, in Audubon. A family visitation will be held from 1-p.m. until the time of service Tuesday, at the Kessler Funeral Home, in Audubon.
