Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at the Wintz & Ray Funeral Home in Yankton with Reverend Gary Kimm officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Dolores Tramp was born May 28, 1928, in Crofton, Nebraska, to Joseph and Emma (Kotrous) Walter. She grew up in Crofton and graduated from Crofton High School in 1946. She attended Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, and obtained her Teacher's Certificate. Years later she attended Yankton College in Yankton and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She first began teaching in Crofton and then in Bloomfield, Nebraska, for several years. She married Earl Tramp on December 6, 1958, in Yankton. They moved to the Mayfield area and Dolores taught country school for a few years and then finished her teaching career at Irene Junior High School in Irene, South Dakota. After her retirement from teaching, they moved to Yankton in the early 2000's. Dolores loved gardening, cooking, and traveling, especially taking bus tours all over the country. She is survived by her husband, Earl Tramp of Yankton and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Delmar Walter.
