Description	:	Doloth "Dolie" (Miille) (Guy) Pearson, 94 Dolie was born February 29, 1924 at Newcastle, Nebraska to Herbert and Martha (Breisch) Miille. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Newcastle and later joined Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, Nebraska where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. She attended Newcastle Public School and graduated in 1943. She worked at Breisch's Store and the Newcastle Locker after graduation. She married Lyle Guy on November 12, 1944. Read More	Doloth "Dolie" (Miille) (Guy) Pearson, 94 Dolie was born February 29, 1924 at Newcastle, Nebraska to Herbert and Martha (Breisch) Miille. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Newcastle and later joined Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, Nebraska where she was a member of the Ladies Aid. She attended Newcastle Public School and graduated in 1943. She worked at Breisch's Store and the Newcastle Locker after graduation. She married Lyle Guy on November 12, 1944. Sadly, Lyle died in 1954. She married Willis Pearson on August 23, 1955. They farmed and lived in the Silvercreek Township until their retirement. They moved to rural Martinsburg in 1984. Doloth worked beside Willis while farming. She enjoyed driving and working on the tractors. They milked cows until 1978 and then started a stock cow herd. Willis died in 2002. Dolie loved reading and sewing. She made baby quilts for all her great-grandchildren. She always had a big garden and canned most of her produce. She loved to put the coffee pot on and visit with neighbors. She made many mittens for the grandkids and who ever could use them. Doloth "Dolie" Pearson, 94, of Martinsburg, NE passed away August 21, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. Left to honor her memory are her 5 children: Jim (Kathy) Pearson of Ponca, Joy (Ken) Marks of Allen, Julie (Keith) Boeckenhauer of Wakefield, Jeri Ann (John) Lowe of Newcastle and Jolene Pearson of Allen; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a special cat, Putt. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lyle (1954) and Willis (2002); and a brother and sister-in-law, Billie (Louise) Miille. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Martinsburg, NE. Burial will be in Silver Ridge Cemetery in rural Ponca. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 P.M., with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the church. The family requests that memorials in her name be given to Hospice of Siouxland.
