Santarini of Rio Dell; father of Mrs. Diana Chaney of Eureka, Donald Santarini of the United States Army stationed in Missouri, and Robert V. Santarini of Pleasant Hill; brother of Mrs. Tania Abraham of Rio Dell, Mrs. Mary Podesta of Walnut Creek, Mrs. Ella Tiscornia of Millbrae, and Anthony Santarini of Healdsburg. He came to the United States and California in 1913, making his home in Healdsburg. He came to Humboldt County in the late 1920s to make his home in the Rio Dell area. He was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church of Scotia. He worked as a trucker for 23 years for The Pacific Lumber Company. Rosary will be recited at Chapel of Gobles Fortuna Mortuary on Thursday, March 20, at 8 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Fortuna on Friday, March 21, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John Healy Celebrant. Interment will be at St. Bernards Catholic Cemetery in Eureka. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 19 - 5th St., Eureka, CA. 95501.
