Mr. Dreier, who had resided at 439 Custer avenue, came to the United States from Switzerland in 1889. He came west in 1900 from Grand Rapids, Mich., where he had lived with his parents, to be employed by the national park service as head plumber at Yellowstone national park. He served in that capacity for 12 years, living at Gardiner. He was married in July 1903 at Livingston to Clara Estelle Lillie, and in 1911 the couple moved to Glendive, where Mr. Dreier operated a plumbling shop and Laundry. Later the couple returned to Gardiner and then moved to Livingston. In 1932 they came to Billings, where Mrs. Drier died nine years later. Mr. Dreier was a charter member of the IOOF lodge at Livingston and held a life membership in that organization. He was born Dec. 22, 1871, in Switzerland, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominick Dreier. On Oct. 22, 1914 he was married in Billings to Mrs. Ruth Scott, who survives him. Survivors, besies the widow, are a son, Albert Dreier, 914 Seventh street west; three brothers, Albert Dreier of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Ernest Dreier and Frank Dreier, both of Grand Rapids, and two grandshildren, Delores Myervold, 439 Custer avenue and Lawrence A. Dreier, 914 Seventh street west. The body is at the Smith funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at Smiths funeral home, with the Rev. Henry L. Ewan of St. Lukes Episcopal church officiating. Burial will be in Mountview Cemetery.
