Description	:	Don B. Yeager was born July 24, 1906 in Shoals, Ind., and died Monday, March 9th at the age of 52 years, 4 months, and 15 days. He was one of 9 children born to Richard and Hattie Yeager. The family moved to Washington, Ind. where he received his schooling. Yeager was born July 24, 1906 in Shoals, Ind., and died Monday, March 9th at the age of 52 years, 4 months, and 15 days. He was one of 9 children born to Richard and Hattie Yeager. The family moved to Washington, Ind. where he received his schooling. At an early age he came to Woolstock where he met and married Mabel Irene Orr. To this union were born five children, Gertrude, Donna, Roy, Josephine, and Ronald. He was converted to the Lord in 1930 and followed the Lord in Baptism. His church home was the Church of the Open Bible in Eagle Grove. Don had worked for the Northwestern Railroad for the past 17 years and had also been route salesman for the Des Moines Register and Tribune for the past 10 years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, 3 brothers, and infant son, Ronald LeRoy Yeager. He is survived by his wife, Mabel, one son Roy Yeager of Webster City: three daughters. Mrs. Eldon Goretzke of Jewell, Mrs. Donna Phipps of Eagle Grove, and Josephine at home. Also 5 grandchildren, Irene, Terrie and Ronald Goretzke, Roy Dennis Yeager, and Don B. Phipps. Also, two brothers, Harry of Indianapolis, Ind., and Noble of Webster City; three sisters, Mrs. Zella Miles of St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs. Herman Klipsch of Petersburg, Ind.; and Mrs. Eula Swann of Washington, Ind. Don was a devoted husband and father, always putting the cares and problems of others before himself and is known as a "second Father " to many of his nephews and nieces, friends and under privileged young people, and his passing will leave a great emptiness to his family and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Church of the Open Bible, Dr. Lloyd Meyer officiated. Interment was in Troy Cemetery.
