Fraass, formerly of Arlington, who has been visiting at the Arthur Johnson home in Arlington. Mr. Johnson is a nephew of young Million. The report showing Million as missing came just seven years after he had entered naval service. The navy's casualty list showed six Nebraskans dead, three wounded and six missing. The report was for the period from August 31 to September 6. Mrs. Fraass had last heard from her son when he was at Dutch Harbor. Enterprise 5 Aug 1943 Cite Arlington Man Posthumously Donald A. Million, Aviation Pilot First Class, U.S. Navy, son of Mrs. Lillie R. Fraase of Arlington, has been awarded the air medal posthumously for gallantry against the Japanese in the Aleutian Islands. Million, who enlisted at Omaha on September 16, 1935, died in action on August 26, 1942. His award cites him for meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight as a navigator and gunner of a patrol plane in action against Japanese forces during the Aleutian Islands campaign last summer. ~~~ Obituary courtesy of the Washington County Genealogical Society.
