Description	:	Donald Alton Cohagan, son of William Lyman Cohagan and Idella Bush, married Alice Viola Hulse, daughter of Eugene Hulse and Rena Curtis, on November 14, 1945, probably in Bricktown, Ocean County, New Jersey. It is probable that Donald met Alice while in the service. The Hulse family was from New Jersey. Donald and Alice had three sons; Ronald, Dean W., and Donald A., Jr. It is also quite probable this marriage ended in divorce. In 1971, one of Elma's son's died listing her as Elma Cohagan and the boy's father as residing in Texas which implies she and Mr. Wilson were divorced. Elma's maiden name was Wilson and she married a Wilson. Elma's obituary also states she was married to Adolph Alt. She is buried with husband Donald Cohagan, but Donald's children are not mentioned in her obituary. On September 6, 1972, a marriage license was issued to Donald A Cohagan, Jr., 42 Hoffman Trailer Crt, Neptune, New Jersey, and Edith Eileen Heffner, 17 Lewel Lane, Levittown, PA. June, 1975, Columbus, Nebraska "Mr. and Mrs. Don Cohagan were hosts to his sister, Geneva Hopkins, of Topeka, Kan., for a week's visit. They traveled to Central City and visited with their brother Paul Cohagan." Wed., May 14, 1976, Columbus, Nebraska "Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cohagan have returned home from Bricktown, N.J. They were there to attend the wedding of HIS son, Dean W. Cohagan." Notice it says his son. There is also strong evidence that Alice, Don's former wife, remarried to Harry James Barrett and had five more children. There is a F-A-G site for Alice V Barrett in Tennet Cemetery, Freehold, New Jersey.
