Born November 8, 1942, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Warren Ervin Baker and Janet (Green) Baker. A graduate of Greenville Technical College, he was the former owner of Baker Shoes of Spartanburg, the former manager of Security Finance Company in Spartanburg and Greenville, a member of Morningside Baptist Church and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Born November 8, 1942, in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of Warren Ervin Baker and Janet (Green) Baker. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Marcia H. Baker; three daughters, Lacey Diane Baker of the home, Shannon L. Baker of Carolina, Puerto Rico, and Lee Anne Hellebrand of Charlotte, NC; two sons, Jeffrey A. Baker of Spartanburg, and Carlos I. Baker of Carolina, Puerto Rico; two sisters, Mary Jane Davidson and Linda Painter, both of Chesnee; a brother, Richard Baker of Spartanburg; and eight grandchildren. Visitation was held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services were held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely and the Rev. Carole Johnson. Burial with military rites was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to the Lacey Baker Scholarship Fund, c/o Mary Jane Davidson, First National Bank, P. O.
