Description	:	Donald C. Tucker, 77, of Vevay, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, at Swiss Villa Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Vevay. He was born Sept. 23, 1931, in Switzerland County, the son of George Dewey and Muriel G. Romans Tucker. He lived all of his life in Switzerland County. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a former employee of Roberts Camper Tops in Vevay and the SEDA program in Vevay. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and tinkering. He is survived by one daughter, Deborah Sue Wilhoite of Vevay; four sons, Ronald Wayne Wilhoite of Madison and Billy Ray "Red" Wilhoite, Steven Ray Wilhoite and Christopher Wilhoite, all of Vevay; two sisters, Geneva Green of Vevay and Darlene Sue Armstrong of Greensburg; two brothers, Ralph Tucker and Kenneth Tucker, both of Vevay; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae Wilhoite; his parents; and one great-grandson. The funeral was at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial was in Vevay Cemetery. Military honors were conducted graveside by the honor guard of Vevay Post 185 of the American Legion and the Vevay Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5396. Madison Courier 3/16/09
