Description	:	Donald C. Graham, son of John and Ida M. Graham, was born at Spencer, Indiana, July 20, 1898, and departed this life August 20, 1942, at the age of 44 years and one month. He was married July 6, 1918 to Gertrude Galimore, moving in 1919 to Polk county, Nebraska. He with his family moved to Boone county in 1934, where they have lived since, with the exception of a few months. Mr. Graham was employed by Dean O. Myers in the implement business. Graham, was born at Spencer, Indiana, July 20, 1898, and departed this life August 20, 1942, at the age of 44 years and one month. He was married July 6, 1918 to Gertrude Galimore, moving in 1919 to Polk county, Nebraska. He with his family moved to Boone county in 1934, where they have lived since, with the exception of a few months. Mr. Graham was employed by Dean O. Myers in the implement business. He was a dependable and trusted workman, well liked and respected by all who were associated with him. While assisting a customer he received the injury, the shock of which caused his death. Besides his wife, he leaves four children, Mrs. Helen Winkler, of Petersburg; Loren W., of Winnebago, Minnesota, Donna Mae and Bobby Lee at home. He is also survived by his father, John R. Graham, of Spencer, Indiana, and eight brothers and sisters. They are: Mrs. Elvin Honn, Coal City, Indiana; Gilbert Graham, Terra Haute, Indiana; Mrs. Reon Long, Mrs. Tommy Halton, Mrs. Logan Goldman and Miss Lulu Graham, of Spencer, Indiana; Robert Graham, Butlerville, Indiana, and Lee Graham of Indianapolis, Indiana. He also leaves four grandchildren and other relatives and friends. His mother just recently passed away. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Monday afternoon at two o’clock, conducted by Rev. L. N. Blough. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were: John R. Graham, Mrs. Thomas Halton, Mrs. Julian Baugh, all of Spencer, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Graham of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Graham and son of Havens; Pvt. Howard F. Galimore, of Fort Riley, Kansas; Eugene Finecy and Mrs. George Carter and son, of Silver Creek. (Albion Weekly News – Albion, Nebraska – August 27, 1942)
