Donald was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, had served on the church council, and a lifetime member of the Wisner V.F.W. and Wayne V.F.W. Donald is survived by his wife, Irene; their children, Timothy (Mary) Hansen of Wisner, Sheryl and (Fred) Kalin of Coleridge, and Bonnie and (Charles) Starkey of Norfolk; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Thomas Hansen (fiancé, Sandra Rivera), and her son, Anthony of Wayne, Melissa (Rob) Engel, Erin and Ryan of Randolph, Trisha (Timothy) Peters of Wisner, Jessica (John) Nelson, Jed and Jacy of Maskell, Amy (Jeff) Thelen of Norfolk, Dale (Brooke) Hansen of Wayne, Kevin Starkey of Norfolk, and Heather Starkey of Norfolk; brothers, Forrest Hansen of Wisner and Larry (Lorraine) Hansen of Norfolk; nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dale, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
