He was born May 17, 1930, in Belmore, the son of Arthur and Norma Wingate (Conkey) Keeran. In 1951, he married Mary Ankney, who survives. He was a member of the Defiance Moose Club and a retired truck driver for Pawnee Extrusions. Also surviving are four sons, Donald Jr. and Thomas, both of Paulding, James of Hicksville, and Terry, Cloverdale; eight daughters, Mrs. Don (Nancy) Egnor, Mrs. Mark (Roberta) McClain, Mrs. Ed (Connie) Korney, Mrs. Rich (Barbara)... Also surviving are four sons, Donald Jr. and Thomas, both of Paulding, James of Hicksville, and Terry, Cloverdale; eight daughters, Mrs. Don (Nancy) Egnor, Mrs. Mark (Roberta) McClain, Mrs. Ed (Connie) Korney, Mrs. Rich (Barbara) Clevenger, Mrs. Kenneth (Tammy) Kinnaley, and Bonnie and Karen Keeran, all of Paulding, and Mrs. Alvin (Cathy) Simonin, Cecil; three stepbrothers, Guy and Bill Conkey, both of Wauseon, and Ben Keeran, Portland, Maine; three stepsisters, Phyllis Etter of Dupont, Edna Davis of Elmore, and Kay Parsels, Monroe, Mich.; and 19 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were a daughter, Linda; a stepsister, Carol Lowry; and stepfather, Raymond Conkey. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Rev. Dawn Remster will officiate. Entombment will be in the Riverview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today, 8 a.rn.-9 p.m. Friday and 8 a m. until services Saturday. Preferred memorials are to the Donald E. Keeran Sr. family.
