Description	:	(KS) Belleville Telescope March 3, 1983 Don Edward Light, son of Boliver and Dora Jefferson Light was born February 22, 1919, at Rogers, Ark., and died February 22, 1983, at the Lincoln, Nebr., Veteran's Hospital. He was 64. When he was nine years old he moved with his family to Munden where he attended school and graduated in 1940. He worked for Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Home. He served in the Army amphibious corp, and spent three years in the Philippines. In 1948 he was united in marriage to Betty Peters of Chester. He was 64. When he was nine years old he moved with his family to Munden where he attended school and graduated in 1940. He worked for Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Home. He served in the Army amphibious corp, and spent three years in the Philippines. In 1948 he was united in marriage to Betty Peters of Chester. He drove transports for Peake and Clayton Peterson Oil Companies, and moved to Columbus, Nebr., in 1954 where he was a car salesman for Nielsen Chevrolet and Ditter Motors, salesman for Henke Machine Co., owned and operated Don's Drive-inn at Duncan, Nebr., for eight years, was a custodian at Columbus, Nebr., High School, owned and operated the Strang, Nebr., Bar and Store, later moving to Geneva, Nebr. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ivan of Munden, John of Oklahoma City; sisters, Mrs. Edward (Veda) Reardon of Hesperea, Calif., and Mrs. Louis (Vera) Rennalett of Richmond, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Betty; brother, Joy Ken Light of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. John (Mary) Bonney of Albuquerque, N. Mex.; three nieces, four nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Farmer and Son Funeral Home, Geneva, with Pastor W. Wilson officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, York, Nebr., with Ohiowa Legion Post members in charge of military services.
